Sites Covered by this Privacy Statement This Privacy Statement applies to all websites, domains, information portals, and registries maintained by UHD Alliance where this Privacy Statement is posted (collectively referred as the “Services”). Changes to this Privacy Statement From time to time, we may update this Privacy Statement and post the updated Privacy Statement here. We encourage you to periodically check back and review this Privacy Statement so that you always know, and are up to date on, our current privacy practices.
2. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit our websites to contact us for more information about our Services or to fill out one of our contact forms, we may ask you to provide your name and email address to communicate with you. When you access or use the Services, we automatically collect the user agent or browser you use. We use this information to provide and maintain the Services.

Additional Privacy Information for California Residents If you are a California resident, California law requires us to provide you with some additional information regarding the “personal information” (as defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)) we collect from and about you while using our Services, and your rights with respect to your personal information. For information about the information we collect, and how we use and share it, please see Sections 2 through 4 above. Please note that we do not “sell” (as such term is defined under California Law) personal information. Please also note that the UHD Alliance’s Services do not respond to “do not track” signals or other similar mechanisms intended to allow California residents to opt-out of Internet tracking. Additional Privacy Information for European Union (“EU“) and UK Residents If you are based in the EU or UK, EU or UK law requires us to provide you with additional information regarding your personal information and your rights, as follows:
- Data controller. The data controller in respect of your information is UHD Alliance, Inc., registered in the State of Oregon in the United States of America whose registered office is at 3855 SW 153rd Drive, Beaverton, OR 97003 .
- Data Protection Officer. You can contact our Data Protection Officer by emailing admin@members.uhdalliance.org.
- Transfers outside of the EEA or UK. We may transfer your information to countries outside of the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or UK, for the purposes described in Sections 2 through 4 above. If we do this, we will, as legally necessary:
- include the EU standard contractual data protection clauses approved by the European Commission into our contracts with the recipients; or
- ensure that the country in which your personal information will be handled has been deemed “adequate” by the European Commission under the General Data Protection Regulation.

DATA RETENTION
We will keep your information for as long as needed to comply with our legal obligations or ongoing operations.
CHILDREN
The UHD Alliance’s Services are directed to adults, and they are not intended for use by children under the age of thirteen (13). By accessing the Services, you are legally acknowledging that you are over the age of 18 or an emancipated minor.
SECURITY
We have implemented security safeguards designed to protect the personal information that you may provide. We also periodically monitor our system for possible vulnerabilities and attacks. You should be aware, however, that since the Internet is not a 100% secure environment, no security measures are perfect, and we cannot assure you that personal information that we collect will never be accessed or used in an unauthorized way.
