Annie Chang is the Vice President, Creative Technologies for Universal Pictures, responsible for developing strategies and designing innovative next-generation workflows across film and emerging immersive media experiences. Prior to joining Universal Pictures, Chang was the VP, Technology for Marvel Studios and held various roles at The Walt Disney Studios. During her career, she has chaired many industry leading committees, is an SMPTE Fellow, is a recipient of the SMPTE Workflow Systems Medal Award and has been honored with numerous industry awards including being named on The Hollywood Reporter’s list of top “Hollywood Innovators” in 2020. In 2021, Hollywood Professional Association honored Chang with the HPA League Honor of “The Catalyst” which recognizes a leader who has successfully inspired and sparked positive change and innovation in entertainment as a “mover and shaker,” and TVNewsCheck recognized Chang with their Women in Technology Futurist Award. In 2022, Women in Technology Hollywood honored Chang with their WiTH Leadership Award.

As Senior Director, Strategy & Standards, Pete represents Xperi in a number of national and international standards and industry alliances including the UHD Alliance, ATSC and SMPTE.

Prior to his role in Xperi, Pete was Associate Director at the DTG (Digital TV group) in the UK, leading all activity within Broadcast, Hybrid and Advanced AV, and was Editor-in-Chief of the D-Book, the UK specification for DTT. Before this Pete began his career at the BBC before running technical operations for Freesat, the UK FTA satellite platform.


Olivier Wellmann

Olivier Wellmann is the Director of Product & Program for Amazon Prime Video, responsible for video playback, streaming, delivery, and video playback – across [Live, Linear, and on-demand], including ingest, encoding, packaging, streaming distribution, delivery optimization & caching, video heuristics, advertising, measurement & analytics, and video players. Before that, Olivier was Senior Vice President at Samba TV. The high growth startup brings solutions to improve the viewing experience through media management, content discovery, and addressable advertising. He was also Vice President of Product Management at Conviva that develops an AI platform for intelligent measurement and analytics for the over-the-top market. He drove as Vice President of Product Development the Middleware, UEX, and Multi-Screens Products at Nagra Kudelski. Olivier was VP of Advanced Advertising solutions at OpenTV (now Imagine Communications). Earlier, Olivier was involved with technology start-up Singularis, active in pioneering work on personalization, recommendation & profiling. In a previous life, Olivier worked in advertising with Wunderman and Young & Rubicam as a Data Miner working for Ford, P&G, Ericsson, Levi’s, or IBM on large-scale initiatives driving television ads, interactive, and customer relationship management. He holds a quantitative BS in Economics with a Financial Math specialization from HEC Switzerland, an MS from Northwestern University, and an MBA from London Business School.


Makoto Morise

Through his professional career, Makoto has ample experience in industry group activities for Panasonic in the global home entertainment industry. Key involvement includes (a) formation and operation of Blu-ray Disc Association as Secretary, Chief Financial Officer and Director, (b) operation and strategic direction of UHD Alliance as Director and Secretary and (c ) formation and operation of HDR10+ Technologies, LLC as Manager, among others.


Telly Kim

Telly Kim is a highly accomplished executive with a career spanning over 22 years at Warner Bros. Discovery. He currently serves as Vice President of Business Development and Licensing where he negotiates global transactional licensing deals across movies and TV, refines digital transactional strategies, and identifies new strategic partners to expand the core business.
In his previous role as Executive Director, New Technology Marketing he led the Ultra HD go-to-market strategy and collaborated with global teams to maximize technical, promotional, and strategic efforts across various format launches including Blu-ray, 3D, 4K Ultra HD, HDR, and more.
